Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the contributions of Maker Culture to the development of students' skills in schools, focusing on the technologies and tools used in this educational model. The research, of a bibliographic nature, was based on the review of studies and academic articles on the implementation of Maker Culture, its pedagogical impacts and the tools used, such as 3D printers, robotics and programming platforms. The development of the study showed that the application of Maker Culture in schools favored the development of skills such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and autonomy, promoting dynamic and interactive learning. Makerspace environments allowed students to become protagonists of their learning, by carrying out practical and interdisciplinary projects, encouraging teamwork and the resolution of real problems. The final considerations indicated that, despite the benefits, there are challenges to the full implementation of this approach in schools, such as the need for adequate infrastructure and ongoing teacher training. The research suggested that new studies be conducted to explore these issues, to improve the application of Maker Culture and expand its practices in different educational contexts.
