Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to reflect on Burnout Syndrome and its impact on the routine of Court Officers, and what empirical research has been produced on this topic. It will be a description and a brief analysis of the production of empirical works on the topic described above. The evolution of work over the decades has been marked by significant transformations, influenced by technological advances and changes in social and economic relations, as well as by the growing emphasis on efficiency and productivity. However, this evolution has also had an impact on the mental health of workers. Burnout Syndrome is one of the most notable manifestations of these impacts. The relationship between the evolution of work and Burnout Syndrome is complex and multifaceted (Benevides-Pereira, 2012).
