Abstract

Pharmaceutical industries represent an important part of the country's economy. However, the need for constant improvements in its processes demanded the creation of quality control and management methods, and it has been a primordial tool for continuous improvement and development of new pharmaceutical forms. This means that it is vital for the credibility of the sector to ensure the effectiveness, safety and quality of its medicines, thus guaranteeing a satisfactory product for the final consumer. That said, this work aims to emphasize and ratify the importance of implementing quality tools, good manufacturing practices, quality management and control and the pharmacist's performance on the subject addressed, since product quality is the best way to gain space, credibility and a strong brand in the market.
