THE IMPORTANCE OF GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES (GMP) IN STORAGE OF SUPPLIES IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY

This study addresses Good Manufacturing Practices and efficient inventory management in the company Panquinto Indústria de Products Alimentarius Ltda. Using this tool, evaluate the quality of stored products. Initially, the importance of GMP and legislation governing food safety and quality is shown, minimizing risks of contamination and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Next, strategies for improving the stock are discussed, including the application of the FIFO method (first in, first out), action plans and the use of technologies for pest control are also mentioned. Furthermore, the need for continuous training of employees and the carrying out of health blitzes is emphasized to ensure adherence to established practices. The article concludes that the integration between good manufacturing practices and effective inventory management not only improves product quality, but also enhances operational efficiency, making it possible to maintain quality and customer satisfaction.
