This article aims to understand the contributions of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to the understanding and management of low frustration tolerance in children of Generation Alpha. The methodology of this article consists of a bibliographic review using a qualitative and descriptive approach, in which twelve studies in different languages (English, Portuguese, and Spanish) were used to compose the discussion of the topic. Thus, the results presented studies indicating a high incidence of children and adolescents from this generation who deal with frustrations in maladaptive ways, as well as the influence of technological advances and parental care, and the effectiveness of CBT in addressing this issue through the promotion of identification, acceptance, and change. It is concluded that the contributions of CBT involve understanding frustration as a common human feeling, which can become a problem depending on the way we deal with it, emphasizing the importance of developing the ability to tolerate frustrations and providing Generation Alpha with the means to do so.
