Abstract

The young man from the upper middle class, golden by the sun of Ipanema, began his great career as a poet and an important social critic in the 1980s. Cazuza, as he became known, marked the Brazilian rock generation and, due to his wit, talent and daring to write common themes in the reality of society at that time, he conquered a privileged place in the gallery of great Brazilian artists.
