RESTRUCTURING YOUNG ADOLESCENT OFFENDERS IN SOCIETY THROUGH PUBLIC POLICIES

Abstract

The presented Course Completion Paper seeks to bring na analysis of Brazilian public policies in the context of the resocialization of adolescents who have committed infractions and proposes to make adaptations to increase the effectiveness of these youths in the social and professional environment. Through a bibliographical review of articles related to the theme, documentary analysis of the Brazilian Yearbook of Public Security (2025), and data from SINASE (2024), gaps were observed in the provision of professional qualification, specialized education, and post-measure follow-up. Thus, it proposes the integration of the National System of Socio-Educational Assistance (SINASE) with the Young Apprentice Program, thereby forming within the project the Psychosocial Evolution Program (EPSC) and generating mechanisms to encourage companies to join the project. Consequently, in view of the already existing public policies, this operational readjustment and constant evaluation are necessary to achieve a reduction in recidivism and to develop the autonomy of the youths.
