THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE FAIRY TALE AS A TEACHING STRATEGY IN CHILD EDUCATION

The educator as a mediator must use teaching strategies suitable for child development and seek in a playful way the child's interaction in a pleasant way in the world of reading and writing. From this understanding, the present research aimed to carry out a study on the contribution of fairy tales as a teaching strategy in early childhood education. The methodology was a literature review, through reading of books, scientific articles that deal with the subject. Resulting in the verification that the fairy tale is a literature with the ability to exercise the strength of the imagination present in childhood, and that if it is properly worked it can contribute to the teaching process in early childhood education. Concluding that it is necessary for the educator to have an attentive look at the various teaching strategies, especially fairy tales, as they are a didactic resource that make the child feel the desire to go to school and develop their potential with pleasure. .
