PREVENTION OF SUICIDE IN ADOLESCENTS: CONTRIBUTIONS OF LOGOTHERAPY IN THE EDUCATIONAL CONTEXT

This article proposes to carry out a narrative review with the objective of discussing the phenomenon of suicide in adolescence, bringing considerations on how the theoretical perspective of Logotherapy and its educational aspect can favor the prevention of this self-destructive behavior in this specific phase. The methodology used in the research is bibliographical, as the approach was given to qualitative research, with a basic research method, a descriptive and explanatory research was carried out. In this sense, an attempt was made to establish a path that contemplated the challenges of this stage of human development and then arrived in education, based on the principles of an existential analysis, as a means of enabling an experience of meaning in the subjects, which would operate as a preventive factor for suicidal tendencies.
