In this article, the objective is to have a simple dialogue with thinkers John Dewey and Maurice Merleau-Ponty about the impacts of COVID-19 on Education. Experiencing in the moment of protection, protecting ourselves from an invisible being without having physical contact with the other, with the eyes of the mentioned theorists, we will see if remote teaching made us distance ourselves from the perspective of body and education for the elementary school student in times of COVID-19, as the body and the experience can adapt to the environment, but without the tactile experience and bodily interaction, it is difficult to perceive the world even when learning and seeing each other on screens..
