Abstract

This article analyzes the importance of implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as a fundamental instrument for the otimization of administrative management in different organizational contexts. The study investigates how process measurability and data-driven strategic planning influence decision-making and efficiency in the service, industry, and higher education sectors. Methodologically, a systematic literature review was conducted based on the PRISMA protocol, integrating evidence from contemporary case studies that demonstrate the correlation between metric monitoring and the reduction of operational waste. The results indicate that the integrated management of indicators allows for the early identification of bottlenecks and the continuous improvement of organizational performance. It is concluded that KPIs transcend mere data collection, configuring themselves as essential governance devices for the sustainability and competitiveness of organizations in the information age.
