Abstract

Workplace harassment constitutes one of the most significant forms of violation of human dignity in contemporary labor relations. It is characterized by abusive, repeated, and intentional conduct that exposes the worker to humiliating and embarrassing situations, compromising their psychological and professional integrity. This article aims to analyze the legal and social repercussions of workplace harassment in the Brazilian context, from 2020 to 2025. The research is bibliographic and documentary in nature, with a qualitative approach and deductive method, based on doctrine, current legislation, and jurisprudence. It was found that, although Brazil does not yet have a specific federal law regulating workplace harassment, the legal system offers effective protection mechanisms through the 1988 Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Consolidation of Labor Laws, the Civil Code, and jurisprudential development. The results show that the effects of workplace harassment extend beyond the individual sphere, affecting the organizational environment, productivity, and the social structure itself, making the adoption of institutional policies for prevention and combating it essential.
