This article presents a qualitative, descriptive study in the form of a report on a teaching experience in the context of pre-school education. The study focuses on the implementation of an interdisciplinary project entitled Promoting healthy eating habits, carried out with a group of twenty children aged between three and five. The project integrated activities from the areas of Expression and Communication and Knowledge of the World, linked to food education and education for sustainability. Data were collected through participant observation, the teacher’s field notes, the children’s work and informal communications with families. The descriptive and interpretative analysis of the documentation enabled the identification of learning outcomes in understanding the seasonality of food, the enrichment of specific vocabulary, the development of basic mathematical concepts, and the manifestation of more positive attitudes towards healthy eating and sustainability. The study highlights the pedagogical potential of the project-based methodology in promoting integrated learning in early childhood education.
