The research analyzes the replacement of human production by Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the legal profession, seeking to understand the legal, ethical and professional impacts of this transformation. The central problem is to determine how the automation of legal activities can affect the quality of services, legal certainty, and employability in the sector. The overall objective is to examine the implications of AI adoption in the Brazilian legal profession, investigating its applications, regulatory challenges, and related ethical issues. The methodology adopted is the deductive method, based on bibliographic and documentary research that includes legislation such as the Statute of the Bar and the General Data Protection Law, as well as legal doctrines and institutional reports. The results indicate that AI can optimize repetitive activities, such as document preparation and case law analysis, generating efficiency and cost reduction, but it also raises risks associated with ethics, algorithmic transparency, and reduced opportunities for professionals at the beginning of their careers. The conclusion is that, although AI is a relevant resource for contemporary law, it does not fully replace critical interpretation, legal argumentation, and human sensitivity, reinforcing the need to adapt the lawyer's professional profile to the digital age, as well as for adequate regulation that ensures a balance between innovation and legal certainty.
