This article aims to analyze the inclusion of technology in education and the challenges faced by teachers when adopting technological tools in their practices. As for the methodology, the research adopts a qualitative approach of a descriptive nature. The data collection technique used was an interview using a questionnaire with guiding questions, carried out with three teachers who work in Basic Education and Higher Education, as well as a bibliographic review with theoretical support from authors such as Kenski (2007), Leite and Ribeiro (2012), Moran (2015) among others who reflect on the use of digital technologies. The interviews were carried out from March to April 2024. The results showed the challenges faced by teachers in using these tools, as well as the positive aspects of technology in the teaching-learning process. The analysis of the pedagogical use of technologies is a current and relevant topic, as new perspectives on pedagogical practice emerge that favor teaching. Furthermore, the challenges identified can be transformed into opportunities.
