The aim was to carry out, through this study, action research, with a qualitative-quantitative approach, the creation of a primer (BJJ PRIMER: Pedagogical proposal with an approach to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in School Physical Education classes) and consequently its validation. The instrument developed was presented to Physical Education teachers and specialists in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Black Belt and Coral Belt) or BJJ, of both sexes, working in the teaching process, aiming to demonstrate possibilities for practical didatic interventions with a BJJ approach in classes, following guidelines expressed by the BNCC (National Common Curricular Base) to Physical Education Teachers at school, with primary and/or secondary school students as the target audience. Questionnaires were sent to the interviewees as a way of describing their respective perceptions regarding the primer. The distinct Fighting modality is a manifestation of the body culture of the movement, comprising diferente approach segments (Self Defense, Martial Arts, Combat Sport, Culture, Philosophy etc.), among them the education nature; being categorized as one of the objects of knowledge in the Fights thematic unit, according to the BNCC. It was concluded that the developed instrument obtained, in general, a positive evaluation, adequate both didactically and methodologically, in relation to the 2 targets audiences investigated.
