Abstract

This article aims to analyze, at BNCC and DCT, government intentions with diversity issues and how these curricular bases were implemented in the PPP of a public school in Tocantins in the years 2018 and 2019. To this end, we carried out a bibliographic and documentary research. We explore the concepts of human diversity and analyze how these curricular references debate diversity. Finally, we also verified the presence or absence of discourses about diversity in the PPPs of 2018 and 2019. We identified the absence and/or insufficiency of theories on the topic both in the curricular bases and in the PPP of the school investigated. We found in the reports evidence that the school tactically developed actions on black culture and rational prejudice during the years investigated. The school's teachers created a work axis within the theme and we believe that this type of proposal contributes significantly to the learning of teaching content. Even if the official documents do not delve deeper into this discussion, Colégio Jalapão needs to get closer to the discourses on diversity, register its intentions in the PPP and explore these themes more comprehensively and contextually.
