This theoretical study employs a Literature Review as a research method, with the aim of understanding and analyzing the pedagogical strategies and practices that educators adopt to foster student motivation in e-learning learning environments. The research was conducted using the Scielo Brasil database, with "Motivation for Students in the E-learning Environment" as search terms. These environments, characterized by their flexibility and accessibility, provide unique opportunities for personalizing the learning process. However, student motivation can pose a challenge in these contexts, due to the absence of face-to-face interaction and the need for self-discipline for autonomous learning. The educator, therefore, assumes a fundamental role in motivating students, by providing timely feedback, creating engaging learning experiences, and establishing an online learning community.
