Abstract

The objective of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of gamification as an innovative approach in mathematics education. Through the "Mathematical Treasure Hunt" activity, the study aimed to assess how gamification could enhance student engagement, promote the practical application of mathematical concepts, and reinforce problem-solving skills. Additionally, the study aimed to examine whether gamification could foster collaboration among students, the development of teamwork skills, and the enhancement of self-confidence in tackling mathematical challenges. Ultimately, the goal was to explore how gamification can be a valuable tool in making mathematics education more effective and engaging, emphasizing that it should be used as a complementary method to traditional teaching for a comprehensive educational experience.
