Early Childhood Education in Brazil is marked by the duality of caring and educating. This duality is even more evident in the day-to-day life of the nursery, as babies have needs and require educational practices beyond what is considered educational. The experience report has a narration of vivid situations and practical experience, to be shared with those specific to Education, as there is a description and analysis of vivid experiences in the one-year-old baby room, intertwined with the proposed theories that permeate practices, especially with regard to work developed with unstructured materials and interactive boards. It is also reported how babies enter the world of imagination, fantasy, sensory perceptions and solve problems in a unique way using their own bodies in their movements through spaces.
