This article sought to study in depth the behavioral profile of an entrepreneur in the field of production of carbonated beverages, in Gurupi, a city in the State of Tocantins. The objective of this work, in addition to diagnosing the entrepreneur's behavior profile, sought in the other details to develop, to approach the origins and initial conceptions of entrepreneurship and its aspects. Identify the perceptions of important thinkers for entrepreneurship and economics: David McClelland, Joseph Alois Schumpeter, Peter Drucker, Adam Smith, Idalberto Chiaventato, Thomas Robert Malthus, Richard Cantillon, Jean Baptiste-Say, and Jean Stuart Mill. The methodology used in this article has a deductive method, a qualitative approach and the instrument used for the research was the methodology of Pôncio (2017), adapted from McClelland. In addition, the methodology was based on authors' literature and theoretical articles of a scientific nature. Through this article, the profile of the entrepreneur's behavior was obtained, whether he is motivated by achievements, affiliation or power.
