ANALYZING THE MAIN ASPECTS OF SOCIAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN BRAZIL

Abstract

This research directly explores the issue of strategic programming and the management of social programs and projects, from a perspective that combines conceptual and analytical aspects with normative and evaluative dimensions. Its purpose is to provide elements that contribute to a better development of social programs and projects and that guide the behavior of those in charge of their execution. Its content is organized into four sections. The first refers to the scenario of social programs and projects, both in terms of questioning the welfare state and the situation of the Brazilian public sector. In the second section, the conceptualization and a typology of social programs and projects will be presented; the third explores aspects related to the management of social projects.
