This article sought to analyze the use of technological tools and innovation in recruitment and selection processes within the context of human resources management. In this setting, tools such as digital recruitment platforms, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), artificial intelligence, online interviews, chatbots, People Analytics, and digital assessments have come to support various stages of the selection process. The general objective of this study is to analyze the importance of technological tools and innovation in recruitment and selection processes within the scope of human resources management. To this end, a qualitative, descriptive, and bibliographic study was conducted, drawing upon books, scientific articles, dissertations, and other academic works related to the topic, with a focus on publications from 2019 onwards. The results of the analysis demonstrate that the use of technology can help expand the reach of job opportunities, expedite resume screening, organize information, reduce repetitive tasks, and enable human resources professionals to adopt a more strategic approach. It is concluded that technology serves as an important support resource for recruitment and selection processes; however, its use must be accompanied by careful planning, human oversight, the clear definition of criteria, and responsible handling of candidate information.
