This study analyzes the convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), active methodologies, and emerging technologies within the contemporary educational ecosystem, assessing their impacts on teaching and learning processes. The incorporation of these tools into educational environments reshapes pedagogical mediation, shifting from passive instructional models toward student-centered approaches based on personalized learning, autonomy, and the development of complex socio-emotional and cognitive competencies. Grounded in neuropsychopedagogical frameworks and theories of meaningful learning, the article investigates how intelligent tutoring systems and immersive virtual environments can enhance knowledge retention and student engagement. Additionally, the study addresses the ethical, methodological, and equity-related challenges associated with the use of AI, emphasizing the need for continuous teacher professional development and methodological rigor in the implementation of these technologies. It concludes that the strategic and evidence-based integration of emerging technologies can enhance academic performance, provided that their use is guided by clear, inclusive, and intentional pedagogical objectives.
