This study aims to analyze the relationship between sport, leisure, and human development within the context of contemporary Physical Education, highlighting their educational, social, and formative dimensions. An Integrative Literature Review was adopted as the research method, following six main stages: definition of the theme, formulation of the guiding question, establishment of inclusion and exclusion criteria, search and selection of studies, analysis and interpretation of results, and synthesis of the knowledge produced. The searches were conducted in the CAPES and SciELO databases using the descriptors “leisure,” “physical education,” and “sport.” After applying the selection criteria, the final corpus consisted of 13 articles published between 2020 and 2025. Data analysis was based on Bardin’s (2016) Content Analysis method, which enabled the identification of thematic categories and theoretical trends. The results indicate that sport and leisure, when pedagogically articulated, are essential practices for comprehensive and civic education, contributing to social inclusion, ethical development, and the appreciation of body culture. It is concluded that the integration among sport, leisure, and education is indispensable for consolidating humanizing practices in Physical Education and for promoting a more participatory and equitable society.
