Digital transformation in the public sector has redefined administrative and organizational practices, particularly within the judiciary, where procedural digitalization was adopted as a strategy for institutional modernization. In this context, the role of leadership in guiding organizational, cultural, and technological changes associated with the adoption of electronic systems in judicial management became prominent. This article aimed to analyze the perception of professionals from the Judiciary of the Court of Justice of the State of Goiás regarding the procedural digitalization process, considering its relationship with administrative efficiency, institutional sustainability, and management practices. The research was characterized as applied in nature, with a quantitative approach and descriptive objectives, using a structured questionnaire administered to 150 professionals from the Court of Justice of the State of Goiás, including judges, permanent civil servants, and commissioned employees. A census sampling approach was adopted. The results indicated that procedural digitalization was perceived as a relevant advancement for administrative modernization, contributing to improved work organization, reduction in paper usage, lower administrative costs, and rationalization of physical space required for case file storage. It was also observed that digitalization fostered institutional practices associated with sustainability and administrative efficiency. However, challenges were identified, particularly related to professional training, technical failures in electronic systems, and the need for greater integration between digital platforms. The findings also showed that the consolidation of procedural digitalization was associated with the role of leadership in managing organizational change, supporting teams, and monitoring institutional routines. It was concluded that procedural digitalization represented a significant strategy for the modernization of the Judiciary in Goiás, whose outcomes depended on the articulation between technology, management, professional training, and institutional leadership.
