Abstract

This work aims to describe the construction of an educational product by the author, as an undergraduate student in the Chemistry degree course, as part of the Pedagogical Practice IV subject. The methodology used was the creation of an Instagram profile as a means of disseminating knowledge related to chemistry. The content presented ranges from initial chemistry concepts to scientific curiosities, as well as information relevant to the student's education, with the aim of reaching a wide variety of audiences. The impact and acceptance of the proposal were evaluated through the comments on the posts. The experience revealed a positive reception from the public for this format. In addition, the active presence of students on the Instagram social network indicates the pedagogical potential of this platform when used by educators.
