Abstract

The present study aims to analyze the application of civil liability and consumerist law in the event of accidents arising out of the practice of circus arts involving risk and height through an historical and bibliographic analysis as well as using the descriptive explanatory method. For a better understanding of the theme it has to define which safety standards apply to the practice of circus arts taking into account their characteristics and peculiarities, and then demonstrate how the civil liability and consumerist law can be applied in concrete cases, in order to prevent that instructors and practicing athletes who eventually suffer accidents are left unprotected by the law.
