This research proposes an intervention in the contexts of social vulnerability of groups and communities in the IFG and Anápolis areas, through practices that aim to provide information and knowledge to face adverse situations in life. The research is an action research type and seeks to broaden the training for teaching in other spaces beyond formal courses in teacher education, by moving to social groups in urban or rural areas. The goal is to associate knowledge of sciences with environmental education in proposals that meet urgent needs in each context of adversity, and it is proposed to intervene in these contexts with activities carried out by IFG students together with communities and social groups. The research uses qualitative research methods and, guided by the theoretical framework of critical environmental education, conducts planning activities considering the aspects of each location and using didactic resources and information and communication technologies. The intention is to provide diversified training spaces for the development of teaching and the fight against situations of social vulnerability in the IFG/Anápolis area.
