Considering the difficulties of educators and even family members in dealing with aggressive and unexpected behavior in children, the aim of this theoretical essay was to explain the concept of emotional intelligence, its definition and meaning, to understand which strategies can be used by teachers. and educational institutions. provide affective-emotional education. Analyzing emotional development from the beginning of life, we want to identify proposals that help participants to better develop the affective skills of the little ones. It was found that if the emotional approach starts early, the baby is more likely to become a responsible and aware adult, which requires working on emotional intelligence both in the family and in the educational environment. An activity is presented to help children understand and manage their emotions.
