The article addresses the theme of new technology in learning to read and write. Knowing that children of new generations have cell phones, tablets or computers available at various times of their day, both for virtual leisure and to communicate with people and, when they arrive at school, there is a referral in the use of resources digital, in the classroom, as children will access the internet for research, online educational games, or even to watch videos on the topics studied, thus having a pedagogical orientation, by the teachers, so that knowledge is built through these virtual resources. This work intends to reflect on the way that new technologies are being used in the classroom, to facilitate the reading and writing process of students, as well as to rethink the pedagogical practice of teachers with a view to the participation of all students and its possible digital inclusion in today's society.
