The research addresses the importance of interactions and games in early childhood education based on pedagogical practices carried out in an Early Childhood III class at a public institution in the city of Juazeiro do Norte-CE. The objective of the research is to understand the importance of ludic activities (games) in the integral development of the child. The research has an applied nature, a qualitative, exploratory and explanatory approach based on the bibliographical survey and the case study technique. The obtained results indicate that the games are fundamental for the development of abilities and competences that stimulate the affective, social and psychic development of the children, having to be a pedagogical practice widely carried through in the scope of the Infantile Education.
