The need for social distancing imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the exposure of teachers and students to the use of digital technologies in dance classes as a result of the transition from the face-to-face model to the online format. This condition demanded a quick adaptation in the teaching and learning processes in the virtual environment and gave rise to reflections on the different challenges for this process, given the increasing incorporation of the use of digital technologies today, particularly among children and adolescents. Given the context, this text is an invitation to reflect on aspects inherent to the behavioral changes of children characterized as digital natives and possible implications for the becomings of the teaching and learning processes of dance.
