The current study aimed to analyze in general how educational institutions deal with didactic and school methodologies, in addition to discussing the student-teacher relationship in the classroom. The methodology used was qualitative, contributing to the development of current and future research on the subject in question, discussing the problems and exploring materials, articles and reference sources in a bibliographic context. Finally, we analyze the student-teacher relationship in the classroom, showing how the teaching and learning process takes place in schools. Thus, we intend to contribute to the development of future academic research in the area, in addition to providing opportunities for a broad debate on the proposed theme.
