The songs can be worked together with the games in the teaching-learning process, expanding opportunities for action and expression of children in early childhood education. The teaching-learning process is presented as a space for contact between children and music, contributing to their learning and the development of their abilities and skills. The general objective of this study is to discuss the work with music in the teaching strategies of early childhood education. This study is characterized as a bibliographical research. The relevance of this study is based on the importance of teachers seeking new ways of pedagogical practices in early childhood education, supported by the use of didactic resources aligned with children's daily lives. Musical learning makes it possible to build a society that respects creativity and the artistic process. In the teaching-learning process, music contributes to the development of children's affective, cognitive, linguistic and psychomotor areas.
