The relationship between teacher and student develops throughout the school process, it is not restricted to learning situations in early childhood education, involving attention and affection between participants. The development of teaching practice comprises building the relationship between teachers and children in kindergarten. The general objective of this study is to discuss the development of the relationship between the teacher and students in early childhood education, in favor of children's school learning. This study qualifies as a bibliographical research. The relevance of this study consists of the condition that the development of learning involves building relationships in the school environment, which includes teachers, students, pedagogical staff and other school employees. The relationship between teacher and student is essential in the development of children's learning in kindergarten, through the factors of affectivity, care, education, emotions and feelings.
