Abstract

The present study aims to explore questions about the Burnout Syndrome that settles in the environment of teaching. Its main characteristics, the factors that contribute to this situation in the school environment, as well as the symptoms, prevention and their influence on the teacher’s productivity. Therefore, understanding these factors will help in the treatment and ways to avoid Burnout, as well as the search for a better quality of life and mental health of the educator. Remembering that we are biopsychosocial beings, in this way, the treatment is subjective and individualized. Finally, conclusions relevant to the aforementioned topic.
