This article aims to analyze the relationship between the playful aspect, the game of rules and literacy. This is a study that aims to verify how playing can be an adequate tool in children's literacy. The theoretical foundation is presented, a brief history of education, games, the importance of the rules of the game for cognitive development and respect for norms and rules in general, are important in today's society.
