Playing in the space and time of early childhood education as a facilitator of children's learning, but realizing that it is often neglected or even ignored, spontaneously understood by adults who have an organizational role to think about teaching work. Based on authors such as Kishimoto (1997; 1998), Moyles (2002; 2006), Brock (2011), Fortuna (2011), and official documents produced for early childhood education (BRASIL, 1998; 2010) and (CAMPOS 2009), we tried to reflect on the theories that support the offer of games in the context of early childhood education and to examine the construction of adult participation in educational experiences.
