ABSTRACT: The present work aims to analyze the development of educational actions of Environmental Education, carried out in elementary school in the schools that make up the Polo Sol Nascente located in the rural settlement ASSURINI in Altamira Pará in the Transamazon and Xingu Region - involved in the research - and the relationship of these projects with the socio-environmental problems of the communities surrounding the aforementioned teaching units. Based on a theoretical framework on Environmental Education, emphasizing socio-environmental sustainability and interdisciplinary projects in the school curriculum, the research is characterized as bibliographic research, using three data collection techniques: the semi-structured interview, observation and document analysis. The treatment of data will take place through content analysis, based on the methodology of BARDIN (1977). It is expected that with the consolidation of the project we will have suggestions in view of the improvement of Environmental Education projects at the Sol Nascente school and other nucleated schools.
