Abstract

This article aims to promote a brief reflection on teacher training in Brazil, confronting the arguments exposed in the debate around teacher training in the face of the challenges of the 21st century. With this objective, in the course of this article, a reflection was produced in order to evaluate how the measures adopted by the State have materialized in concrete actions within the trainers. Likewise, it will be possible to assess the impact of policies and projects in the ongoing educational field, which has capitalism and neoliberalism as part of the process. Thus, research was carried out to complement the arguments used. The choice of theme is justified due to the numerous explanations and arguments about the consequences of what has been happening in education in Brazil, in the face of the impositions of the financial system. In our view, there is a governmental position in the sense of adopting legal provisions to meet the demands imposed by the universalization of the education system, as well as those imposed by the neoliberal system. The consequences are many, but the most painful is not admitting that education is the driving force behind the development of a nation, given that quality education cannot be achieved without well-trained teachers.
