“JOÃO” STUDENT WITH AUTISTIC SPECTRUM DISORDER: A CASE OF LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

This work aims to analyze, through a simple and direct way, the complex learning process of autistic children, focusing on their characteristics, behaviors and difficulties, as well as their coexistence in social relationships. It was characterized as a descriptive exploratory study and bibliographic research, having as population the students of the municipal school José Jorge de Farias Sales, Igarassu, Pernambuco, of both sexes, enrolled in the 9th year of elementary school. The sample consisted of 30 students, with only 01 student with ASD. Developmental syndrome that usually manifests itself in children before the age of two, autism is still unknown to a large part of the Brazilian population. It is necessary to better disseminate the procedures used in the educational process of the autistic child, as well as the relationship with family, teachers and society.Our investigation was based on an on-site analysis of a case study comparing it to the most recent academic articles collected through bibliographic research as the main source for the knowledge of the proposed theme.
