Discussing the need to implement a performance evaluation tool in a social program, such as the Social Assistance Reference Centers (CRAS), makes management reflect on the value generated by their performance and allows analyzes and changes to be made (if necessary). necessary) within an efficient management proposal; every social program must be anchored in notions of causality, that is, several causal relationships that indicate the generation of benefits with some process, aiming at the social transformation desired by the interferences in the conditions and quality of life of the users. Through the methodology of bibliographic research and in the exploratory line, consulting authors and productions regarding the context that the theme contains. It was seen that, yes, there is a significant evaluation of performance on services and actions that raise, as much as possible, the quality of life of families / users in a situation of vulnerability, whose article covered everything from the rapid historicity of the CRAS to the intervention which gives the theme a way to work on better configurations both in management and in the satisfaction of those who depend on or resort to it, which is essential to exercise this articulation between internal work and external results, based on what transparency in public administration proclaims: making evident the actions and repair errors / failures for the possibility of efficiency.
