Changes within a company occur faster and faster and this speed has been generating impacts on the management of organizations, thus giving rise to the need to rethink management models. The pandemic brought many changes in the field of corporate work. The old maxims no longer apply in the current context. Working relationships and the way of working are significantly changed. This research aimed to analyze the role of people and Human Resources management in a post-pandemics scenario. The specific objectives of this work were: to talk about people management; expose notions about leadership; explain the Covid-19 pandemic; and researching labor relations and people management in the post-pandemic era. In order to reach the enumerated objectives, we opted for a literature review in already published bibliographies, such as books, scientific articles, magazines, electronic documents and encyclopedias in the search and allocation of knowledge on the subject. It was concluded that, in general, organizations face the challenges of this moment of crisis. But as we go along imagining a post-pandemic era, we see that a management system based on old rules and rigid hierarchy, uniformity, bureaucracy and control, will no longer be effective. In its place, there must be a model that is more flexible and responsive, built around four interrelated trends: more connectivity, unprecedented automation, lower transaction costs, and shifting demographics.
