This article seeks to discuss the importance of Indigenous School Education in the process of strengthening specific and differentiated knowledge. When indigenous people claim that indigenous school education is a great challenge, the main reason is not the lack of didactic procedures or curriculum content, but the fact that the logic of school organizations contradicts the logic of life of these cultures, the The following research is justified in training and raising awareness among indigenous peoples to be protagonists of their own knowledge, as colonizing education aims to manipulate, integrate and erase their identities from the memory of indigenous peoples, making native peoples become equal to surrounding society. The aim of the article is to enhance the traditional knowledge of the Atikum people by being knowledgeable about their own history. With the struggle and resistance of the elders, to guarantee the rights to national recognition denied for many centuries. The initiative was to use the teaching in their favor, as this way they would be learning to defend themselves through orality. We understand that indigenous education is learned in the community.
