Domestic violence against women is a serious social issue and a major challenge for public security, requiring coordinated actions to ensure the protection of victims. This article aims to analyze the role of the Military Police in combating domestic violence, emphasizing its importance in prevention, victim assistance, and the enforcement of protective measures established by the Maria da Penha Law. This study adopts a qualitative and descriptive approach based on a bibliographic and documentary review, using legislation, scientific articles, books, and official documents as sources. The findings indicate that the Military Police plays a fundamental role in the protection network for women by providing initial assistance, preventing the recurrence of violence, and working in cooperation with other public security and support institutions. The study also identifies challenges related to the continuous training of police officers and the strengthening of public policies aimed at combating domestic violence. It is concluded that effective police action, combined with professional training and the use of protective technologies, significantly contributes to improving the response to domestic violence and ensuring the protection of women's rights.
