This article reports on the authors' experience using gamification specifically the Kahoot platform and artificial intelligence within the teaching-learning process. It is a descriptive study, in the form of an experience report, conducted with 43 third-semester undergraduate nursing students at a public university in the Triângulo Mineiro region during the first semester of 2026. The strategy involved interactive quizzes developed with the aid of artificial intelligence and implemented at the end of three thematic classes on the Nursing Process. The activities were carried out via the Kahoot platform using mobile devices and computers to foster collaborative learning and provide immediate feedback. Increased student interaction and participation, the development of cooperation during activities, and greater engagement with the subject matter were observed. Furthermore, the quizzes enabled the real-time identification of questions and learning difficulties, allowing instructors to revisit the material. The experience demonstrated that combining gamification with artificial intelligence is a promising tool for nursing education, contributing to active learning, the development of clinical reasoning, and student engagement in the educational process.
