Abstract

This study analyzes how people management, personnel administration and labor calculations support safer, more strategic and socially responsible business decisions. The research adopts a qualitative, exploratory and bibliographic approach, based on a systematized review of Brazilian academic sources on people management, labor legislation, eSocial, People Analytics and payroll planning. The findings show that the integration of labor routines, reliable data and organizational planning strengthens operational efficiency, reduces legal risks and encourages a more human-centered management of employment relations. The study also indicates that tools such as People Analytics and eSocial expand managers' analytical capacity, provided that they are used with technical accuracy, ethics and attention to data quality. It concludes that mastering labor legislation, calculations and strategic people management goes beyond legal compliance and becomes a relevant advantage for business sustainability and competitiveness.
