This work is part of a Master's research project in Educational Sciences at the Universidad Del Sol – (UNADES/PY). It aims to analyze the relationship between family and school in an early childhood education institution in the municipality of Brejo da Madre de Deus – PE. Secondary objectives include identifying the importance of the partnership between family and school in the child's learning process; understanding the role the family plays within the school environment, that is, identifying strategies for bringing school and family closer together; and investigating possible harm caused by the lack of family participation in school. The central question is: How does the relationship between family and school occur in a daycare center located in the city of Brejo da Madre de Deus? Other central questions were also chosen: What forms of communication exist between the school and the families of the municipal daycare center, and how do they influence the relationship between the two? How do families perceive the role of the school in the educational and social development of their children in this context? What are the main obstacles that families and schools face in maintaining effective collaboration?
