This article aimed to analyze the role of digital communication as an educational tool in disseminating information about sporotrichosis, integrating the areas of Teaching, Journalism, and Veterinary Medicine. It is a bibliographic research, based on Freire (1996), Tardif (2012), Matos and Estrázulas (2013), Costa and Carvalho (2021), Gremião (2020), and other authors in the veterinary field. Two practical cases were analyzed: the Fiocruz Amazônia project and an article from the Portal Manaós. The results showed that misinformation is one of the main aggravating factors of the disease, contributing to late diagnosis and animal abandonment. Convergences were identified between the three areas, highlighting the need for dialogical communication, training of multipliers, and integration of disciplinary, communicational, and teaching knowledge. It concludes that digital communication in health should be intentionally pedagogical. The connection between teaching, journalism, and veterinary medicine offers a promising path for tackling sporotrichosis.
